Our Projects

“It may seem a strange principle to enunciate as the very first requirement in a Hospital that it should do the sick no harm.” Florence Nightingale 1820-1910: Notes on Hospitals (1863 ed.) preface

Currently the Tygerberg Children’s Hospital is not an optimal child and parent friendly environment for health care and for this reason we need to renovate existing structures to create a better facility. This entails the transformation of the current wards to spaces where the child patient will experience control over their disease and environment. The children should also be able to connect to themselves, their caregivers and the outside world.
