Renovation of the Subspecialist Outpatient Department

We want to improve the outlay of the Subspecialist Outpatient Department. There is also a need to accommodate more clinics per day, including counselling rooms to cope with increasing patient numbers.

The following restructuring of the department is planned:

  • A larger reception area for appointment bookings to accommodate additional staff who can assist patients.
  • Additional consultation rooms.
  • Two weighing rooms (one for babies and the other for older children).
  • 3 additional oxygen outlets should be made available.
  • Toilet facilities should be upgraded to include one for disabled persons / wheel chair access and the other with a nappy change bench. Baby cribs should also be made available.
  • Include 3 workstations with computers and printer for consultation rooms.
